+There is a firmware for sideboards with [GD](https://github.com/EFeru/hoverboard-sideboard-hack-GD) and [STM](https://github.com/EFeru/hoverboard-sideboard-hack-STM) chips, but it's only supporting the DMP on MPU6050 IMU for Angle calculation.
+Many sideboards have a different IMU like MPU6050A, which is in fact a ICM-20689.
