The cockroachDB operator has not had community support in Rook.
Therefore, the time has come to deprecate and remove it.
If the sources are still needed, there is always git history.

Update the cross build container to use golang 1.15.7 instead
of 1.13.8. The update to build with 1.15 had only been made in the
AMI, and is now updated in the container as well.

With the release of the latest octopus v15.2.7 we update the base
of the operator image and set the examples to use the same release
to pick up the security and other bug fixes.

The Cassandra sidecar uses the Jolokia javaagent to expose a REST API of
Cassandra's administrative interface, which is normally only exposed via
JMX, a Java-only RPC protocol. Update the Jolokia javaagent to a newer
version, containing new features and security bug fixes.

The operator should only connect to ceph with a single set of creds.
In a converged cluster this will be the admin creds and in an external
cluster it will be lower-privileged creds. Independent clusters were
implemented with a separate set of creds. To simplify the code these
are now merged to a single set.

When hostname has hypen and/or numbers, the mon_endpoints is incorrectly
split and can point to invalid monitor names inside toolbox, Add fix to
split the hostname/ip that can include hypen, underscore or numbers.

Update the base operator image and cluster examples to use the latest
octopus release v15.2.4. Also cleanup some old examples and unit tests
that were still based on mimic.

Since 1.3 will support both Nautilus and Octopus, let's use Octopus for
the base image. Newer images have retro-compatibility with older Ceph
versions.

Newer versions of operator-sdk (since 0.15.0, released Jan 2020) have a different command line to generate CSV. Make changes to the script generating the CSV so that it works with these new versions.
Use the newer manifest format to be compatible with bundles in the future.

Automatically detect Podman if Docker is not available.
This allows me to run make and complete it succesfully without Docker
and without the need to set the DOCKERCMD env. variable.

The toolbox script is used for configuring the toolbox. If the
mons are to fail over while the toolbox is running, the new
list of mons needs to be updated. However, if run temporarily
as a one-time job, the script only needs to initialize the
ceph.conf and then exit.

The toolbox generates a ceph.conf and extracts the names of the mons
based on the assumption that they all had the prefix rook-ceph.
This is no longer true for external clusters. The external clusters
may have mons with any variety of names.

Currently in cluster deploy, ceph image points to ceph/ceph:v14.2.1-20190430.
Changing this to use ceph/daemon-base:latest-nautilus-devel as its the latest nautilus.
Ceph nautilus has some changes in cephsfs mgr module, which is required by ceph-csi
canary image, without which the create/purge of RWX PVCs will fail. These changes
are not yet part of any released ceph version, i.e v14.2.1-20190430. Even in the
short future, we expect some changes to land in Nautilus after 14.2.2, hence
waiting for 14.2.2 release and updating to it, will not solve the issue.
Therefore using latest-nautilus-devel, which will always have the changes
required by ceph-csi. This is only a temperory change in the master, until
14.2.3 is released.
