The cluster info is important context for the cluster controller to
create the cluster, and all the fields must be properly set.
A test cluster name was being set temporarily, resulting in
mons incorrectly getting the wrong cluster CR name. There is no
known issue from the temporary value, it was just exposed by
https://github.com/rook/rook/pull/8678 setting the value to a label.
Now the functions are more clearly named so only unit and
integration tests should be using the test value for the cluster
name where it is not important.

This commit is a large refactor on how the operator starts, stops and
how it starts various sub-components such as the ceph-csi driver. It
also refines the way we cancel orchestrations. We don't use breakpoints
anymore but send our self a SIGUP to reload our controller runtime
manager.
The reload will happen under different circonstances like:
* a new adminission controller secret is created/deleted/changed
* a CephCluster CR is edited
As mentioned earlier, the csi driver now has its own controller, just
like flex. It reacts to change in the operator config map for particular
ROOK_CSI_ fields.
A second new controller for the operator's general config has been
created, it manages:
* the logging level
* the ceph CLI command timeout
* the discovery daemon
The operator reacts much more rapidly to cancellation events by stopping
the manager's context and reloading it.

During disaster recovery/migration of a cluster, as part of the failover, the
kubernetes artifacts like deployment, PVC, PV, etc will be restored to a new
cluster by the admin. Even if the kubernetes objects are restored the
corresponding RBD/CephFS subvolume cannot be retrieved during CSI operations as
the clusterID and poolID are not the same in both clusters
This PR creates a mapping between Cluster ID and RBD Pool ID between
local cluster and peer cluster.

The mon config had two different implementations that have evolved
over the lifetime of the project. This is a simple refactor to remove
the SetConfig() option and stick with the MonStore as a single
implementation for updating the mon store.

Instead of having the RBDMirroringPeerSpec in the RBDMirror CRD we want
to move it on the CephBlockPool CRD so that each pool can have its own peer.
This enables pool to re-use an existing peer secret if it points to the
same cluster peer.So we don't need to duplicate secret peer anymore.

Both `ExecuteCommandWithOutputFileTimeout()` and
`ExecuteCommandWithOutputFile()` generate unnecessary system calls by
creating/reading/removing files where the stream output of the command
can simply be used. So sticking with `ExecuteCommandWithOutput()` and
`ExecuteCommandWithCombinedOutput()` for reading outputs is sufficient.

The PR disables mirroring on a pool when PoolSpec.Mirroring.Enabled
is set to false
- disable mirroring on the pool for `Mirroring.Mode == pool`
- Add warning for the user to disable mirroring manually for `Mirroring.Mode == image`
- Stop the mirroring health checker goroutine
- Reset the mirroring health check status in the CR.

Similarly to block volume replication, Ceph is capable of replicating the
content of a Ceph Filesystem from one cluster to another.
For this, during the 1.6 cycle, we introduced a new CRD called
CephFilesystemMirror which effectively deploys a cephfs-mirror daemon.
However, configuring peers to enable replication between two clusters
had to be done manually.
Also various bug fix made it in Ceph eventually and the minimum required
version for this to work is to run on Ceph Pacific 16.2.5 at least.
So the automatic configuration of Ceph Filesystem peers is now possible.
By editing the CephFilesystem CRD, you can now turn on mirroring:
```yaml
mirroring:
enabled: false
# list of Kubernetes Secrets containing the peer token
# for more details see: https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/dev/cephfs-mirroring/#bootstrap-peers
peers:
secretNames:
- secondary-cluster-peer
```
Also, the mirroring status is displayed in the CR status:
```
status:
info:
mirroringStatus:
daemonsStatus:
- daemon_id: 4186
In the latest Ceph releases starting with v16.2.1, all clients are recommended
to be updated so they will have a security fix to connect with a secure
global ID. A health warning will be raised if any insecure clients are connected
and another health warning is raised if insecure clients are still allowed.
Rook will now disable allowing the insecure clients if the health warning
is not being raised to indicate that there are insecure clients still connected.
This means that upgraded clusters will not have this disabled until all the
daemons are updated.
The rook.io/v1 package was only an internal implementation detail and
does not have any CRDs that rely on it. The CRD deserialization should
handle the change in internal types without any issue. This separation
gives more flexibility for the storage providers to implement exactly
what is needed for their storage provider instead of forcing to use the
same types and risk affecting another storage provider.
Finally! We can now stop editing manually our crds definition. Simply
run `make crds-gen`. These two files:
* `cluster/examples/kubernetes/ceph/crds.yaml`
* `cluster/charts/rook-ceph/templates/resources.yaml`
will be autogenerated for us.
We rely on the controller-gen tool, it reads our API definitions from
`pkg/apis/` and produces the CRD files accordingly.
It uses "markers" to add extra yaml fields to the CRD, for instance we
have a lot fields with:
```
nullable: true
x-kubernetes-preserve-unknown-fields: true
```
The corresponding API type markers are:
```
// +kubebuilder:pruning:PreserveUnknownFields
// +nullable
```
For more API convention see
https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/contributors/devel/sig-architecture/api-conventions.md#optional-vs-required
and for the markers see: https://book.kubebuilder.io/reference/markers/crd-validation.html
We can now prioritize orchestrations on certain event. Today only two
events will cancel on-going orchestrations (if any):
* request for cluster deletion
* request for cluster upgrade
If one of the two are caught by the watcher we will cancel the on-going
orchestration.
For that we implemented a simple approach based on check points, where
we will check for a cancellation request in certain part of the
orchestration. Mainly before each mons/mgr/osds orchestration loops.
This solution is not perfect, but we are waiting for the
controller-runtime to release its 0.7 version which will embed context
support. With that we will be able to cancel reconciles more precisely
and rapidly.
Pools in stretch clusters will all use the same crush rule that
is generated by the operator when configuring the cluster for
stretch mode, with replica 4 and two replicas per failure domain.
Pools cannot create new crush rules, so we require that replica be
4 when the pools is created, EC is not allowed, and no new
crush rule will be created.
The CRUSH map does not allow duplicate values (nor keys) for the
labels. That means that if the currently hardcoded label value
`default` occurs anywhere else in the tree (for example, because
some of the topology labels provided by the cloud provider use it),
the cluster cannot sucessfully spawn.
By giving the user control over the label value used for the root
CRUSH map label, it is possible to adapt the cluster to this
situation.
To be able to actually use the `default` value, the root=default
node which is created by default by ceph itself has to be removed;
since that node is accompanied by a replicated crush rule, we have
to remove that rule, too.
The integration tests are modified to sometimes use the custom
crushRoot (based on an arbitrary criterium) to get coverage across
the various suites. Separate tests could be added, but were not
deemed necessary at this point.
The pool spec has now a new property called "replicasPerFailureDomain"
which essentially represents the number of replicas to store in each
failure domain.
Assuming the failure domain is a datacenter (if the cluster is
stretched) then you will have 2 replicas per datacenter where each
replica ends up on a different host. This gives you a total of 4
replicas and for this, the "size" must be set to 4.
Rook is now capable of configuring mirroring between sites. The
implementation works at different levels:
* CephBlockPool: which introduces a new `mirroring` configuration as well
as `statusCheck`. When turned on, Rook will enable mirroring on the
pool. It will also create a bootstrap peer token and store it in a
Kubernetes Secret. The name of that Secret can be found in the Status
field of the CephBlockPool CRD. This token can be fetched and used by
other clusters to configure the site as a peer. Mirroring can be
configured either at the pool or the image level.
* CephRBDMirror: which introduces a new `peers` configuration allowing
Rook to connect to peers by passing a Secret name. The administrator will
create a Kubernetes Secret with 2 keys: 'token' for the bootstrap peer
token and 'pool' for the name of pool. Once detected the rbd-mirror
controller will go ahead and import the peer configuration.
Pool mirroring status example:
```

To provide more context for executing commands in a ceph cluster,
the full clusterInfo is now passed to the ceph execution commands.
All information about the cluster will now be available throughout
all the areas of the operator. The namespace, ceph credentials,
mon endpoints, and other info is a core part of that cluster info.
Arguments passed through the controllers are also simplified for
mons, mgr, osds, and other daemons where the parameters had
become too complex.

We can now explicitly set any property on a given pool by using the new
Property field in the CephBlockPool Spec.
Also, this fixes the case where both `CephBlockPool` and `CephCluster`
are created at the same time. When Rook creates the pool, the cluster is
still being bootstrapped and the global option
`osd_pool_default_pg_autoscale_mode` has not bee set yet. So the pool
gets created but its `pg_autoscale_mode` property is set to `warn`
instead of `on`.

The pools had some legacy structs that translated between the
ceph.v1 types used by the CRDs and the internal implementation
of the pools. This simplifies the pool implementation by removing
the intermediate model and leaving us only with the ceph v1
pool types and no unnecessary translation.

Now, the CephBlockPool CRD is managed with the controller-runtime.
So the watcher is outside of the main controller reconciliation loop of
CephCluster which brings numerous benefit such as:
* having its own reconciliation loop
* won't block anything from the main CephCluster controller loop
* fast than waiting for CephCluster loop to completion

As of Octopus, Ceph will prevent you from creating a pool with a
replica size of 1. Allowing such pool could lead to data loss, so enable
the new option: requireSafeReplicaSize: false if you are **ABSOLUTELY**
certain that is what you want.

currently we are not checking the pool is empty or
not before deleting, This PR adds a check to check
if any images/snapshots using the pool, if yes it will
not delete the pool

In the 0.9 release rook converted the v1beta1 CRD resources
to v1 resources. This conversion code is no longer necessary
as we will be using v1 resources going forward.
The code paths will not be triggered anymore, thus
removing the dead code.

The CephCluster CR contains settings that are needed by other
CRs to configure the Ceph daemons. When the CephCluster CR
is updated, the updates will now be passed on to each of the
CR controllers to ensure the daemons are updated properly
without requiring an operator restart.
When calling the controllers from another controller,
we ensure that only a single goroutine is handling
CRs at any given time to prevent contention across
multiple CRs of the same type.

Create a cephconfig module in Ceph's daemon pkg source, and refactor the
config and keyring generation that exists in the mon package into the
new cephconfig package. The config/keyring generation code is used by
most all daemons and not just mon, so a new package is a more
appropriate place for this.
