For Rook v1.19,removing support for Ceph Reef. It is at end of life.
Users on Reef can continue to use Rook v1.18.x or older.
The latest two Ceph versions Squid and Tentacle are supported.

The target size ratio is currently always being set to 0, when
neither the legacy targetSizeRatio nor the parameter for
target_size_ratio are set. In this case, we should not set it to 0,
but rather should skip the command to set the target size ratio.

Enabling crush updates is false by default, and can be enabled
if set to true. The setting needs to be nullable in case
we need to differentiate between the value being set
to false or just not set, to know if the default should be
different. This is necessary for rook consumers who are
refererencing the pool struct and want to change the default,
rather than using rook's default value of false.

When a rados namespace is deleted, it cannot be purged

When the blockpool is deleted and there are images or

radosnamespace dependencies. A new condition is now added
to describe if there are images or snapshots.

Updating the device class swallowed any error if updated

Pools in stretch clusters must all specify the same
CRUSH rule. No pools can use a different rule. When there
is a change in the device class, we do not even expect to update
the crush rules in a stretch cluster. Different device classes
are not supported in stretch clusters, and it's expected to be
a homogenous environment. Therefore, skip all crush rule updates
in stretch clusters.

For image mode mirroring, if cephBlockPool.Pool.Spec.Mirroring.Enable
is set to false, then remove the peer cluster and disable mirroring on
all the pool if the user has disabled mirroring on all the pool images.
If mirroring is not disabled on all the pool images, then reconcile will
fail asking the users to manually disable mirroring on those images.

The crush rule will be updated when the failure domain changes.
This update can be skipped when the expected crush rule is
already configured. Otherwise, the log has a confusing message
that makes it appear that the crush rule was updated
when in fact it was not.

Rook has been setting the application automatically on all
pools to rbd for CephBlockPools, rook-ceph-rgw for
CephObjectStores, mgr on the built-in .mgr pool,
and nfs on the built-in .nfs pool.
The legacy pool device_health_metrics is long gone
from Pacific which is no longer supported, so we can
remove special handling for that pool in the upgrade
guide and in the code.
The application setting is now available on the pool spec
although it is not expected to commonly need to override
the default applications set by Rook.
The application for CephFilesystem pools is now being
set to cephfs, where it was previously blank.

Ceph added a check recently that prevents creation of the
built-in pools that start with a dot, such as .nfs, .mgr,

The reconcile was skipping updating most pool properties for
object stores. The implementation of pools between the file,
object, and pool controllers had some duplicate code, so
this change also factors out the common code for better
reuse in a single place. Anytime a pool is created or updated,
it will now consistently update all the pool properties
that are expected to be modifiable.

The built-in pools device_health_metrics and .nfs created by ceph
need to be configured for replicas, failure domain, etc.
To support this, we allow the pool to be created as a CR.
Since K8s does not support underscores in the resource names
the operator must translate this special pool name into
the name expected by ceph.
This also sets the basis for allowing filesystem data
pools to specify the desired pool name instead of requiring
a generated name.

For CRD not using the new nfs spec that includes the pool settings,
applying the "size" property won't work since it is set to 0. The pool
still gets created but returns an error. The loop is re-queued but on
the second run the pool is detected so no further configuration is done.

During disaster recovery/migration of a cluster, as part of the failover, the
kubernetes artifacts like deployment, PVC, PV, etc will be restored to a new
cluster by the admin. Even if the kubernetes objects are restored the
corresponding RBD/CephFS subvolume cannot be retrieved during CSI operations as
the clusterID and poolID are not the same in both clusters
This PR creates a mapping between Cluster ID and RBD Pool ID between
local cluster and peer cluster.

formats rather than an integer representing the number of bytes.

Now, we can schedule snapshots on pools from the CephBlockPool CR when
the pool is mirrored.
It can be enabled like this:
```
mirroring:
enabled: true
mode: pool
snapshotSchedules:
- interval: 24h # daily snapshots
startTime: 14:00:00-05:00
```

Pools in stretch clusters will all use the same crush rule that
is generated by the operator when configuring the cluster for
stretch mode, with replica 4 and two replicas per failure domain.
Pools cannot create new crush rules, so we require that replica be
4 when the pools is created, EC is not allowed, and no new
crush rule will be created.

In clusters where only two datacenters (or similar failure domains)
are available, a different mon and osd approach is needed to deal
with the network partitions or some other reason for one of the failure
domains going down. The Ceph stretched cluster makes the mons aware
of the failure domains by configuring one as the arbiter in a third
zone, while keeping two replicas of the data in each of the data
zoens.

The CRUSH map does not allow duplicate values (nor keys) for the
labels. That means that if the currently hardcoded label value
`default` occurs anywhere else in the tree (for example, because
some of the topology labels provided by the cloud provider use it),
the cluster cannot sucessfully spawn.
By giving the user control over the label value used for the root
CRUSH map label, it is possible to adapt the cluster to this
situation.
To be able to actually use the `default` value, the root=default
node which is created by default by ceph itself has to be removed;
since that node is accompanied by a replicated crush rule, we have
to remove that rule, too.
The integration tests are modified to sometimes use the custom
crushRoot (based on an arbitrary criterium) to get coverage across
the various suites. Separate tests could be added, but were not
deemed necessary at this point.

The pool spec has now a new property called "replicasPerFailureDomain"
which essentially represents the number of replicas to store in each
failure domain.
Assuming the failure domain is a datacenter (if the cluster is
stretched) then you will have 2 replicas per datacenter where each
replica ends up on a different host. This gives you a total of 4
replicas and for this, the "size" must be set to 4.

Rook is now capable of configuring mirroring between sites. The
implementation works at different levels:
* CephBlockPool: which introduces a new `mirroring` configuration as well
as `statusCheck`. When turned on, Rook will enable mirroring on the
pool. It will also create a bootstrap peer token and store it in a
Kubernetes Secret. The name of that Secret can be found in the Status
field of the CephBlockPool CRD. This token can be fetched and used by
other clusters to configure the site as a peer. Mirroring can be
configured either at the pool or the image level.
* CephRBDMirror: which introduces a new `peers` configuration allowing
Rook to connect to peers by passing a Secret name. The administrator will
create a Kubernetes Secret with 2 keys: 'token' for the bootstrap peer
token and 'pool' for the name of pool. Once detected the rbd-mirror
controller will go ahead and import the peer configuration.
Pool mirroring status example:
```
status:
info:
rbdMirrorBootstrapPeerSecretName: pool-peer-token-test
To provide more context for executing commands in a ceph cluster,
the full clusterInfo is now passed to the ceph execution commands.
All information about the cluster will now be available throughout
all the areas of the operator. The namespace, ceph credentials,
mon endpoints, and other info is a core part of that cluster info.
Arguments passed through the controllers are also simplified for
mons, mgr, osds, and other daemons where the parameters had
become too complex.
We can now explicitly set any property on a given pool by using the new
Property field in the CephBlockPool Spec.
Also, this fixes the case where both `CephBlockPool` and `CephCluster`
are created at the same time. When Rook creates the pool, the cluster is
still being bootstrapped and the global option
`osd_pool_default_pg_autoscale_mode` has not bee set yet. So the pool
gets created but its `pg_autoscale_mode` property is set to `warn`
instead of `on`.
