Add optinal hostnetwork field for Ceph Mgr to control whether the
mgr pods to run in host network. If unset, this defaults to
cluster level Network.HostNetwork value. This particulary useful
when user wants to restrict ceph mgr pod from exposing metrics
port in all host interfaces.

This change addresses a permission issue where mon pods crashloop
on some Kubernetes setups with SELinux enabled, even when
ROOK_HOSTPATH_REQUIRES_PRIVILEGED is set.
To resolve this, a new function makeMonSecurityContext() was introduced
to explicitly set runAsUser: 0 at the pod level for mon pods
when the environment variable ROOK_CEPH_MON_RUN_AS_ROOT is set to true.
Additionally, the function previously named PodSecurityContext() was renamed
to DefaultContainerSecurityContext() to avoid confusion between
container-level and pod-level security context configuration. All container
SecurityContext usages across Ceph daemons were updated to reflect this change.
This ensures the root user configuration is applied
automatically and consistently in environments where it is required
for mon pod startup, while preserving clear separation of container
and pod-level security logic.

Mgr sidecar was using a privileged security context because it needed
to create the /var/lib/rook directory, generate the config on it, and
then copy it to the /etc/ceph directory. This change creates empty
directories on /var/lib/rook and /etc/ceph so the mgr sidecar can use
them, removing the need for using a privileged security context.

ceph dashboard uses radosgw-admin for certain tasks that
aren't accessible via the rgw REST API. Due to the absence of
a valid ceph.conf file at /etc/ceph/ceph.conf within the mgr pod,
radosgw-admin fails to operate, resulting in 500 errors across
various 'Object Gateway' views on the dashboard. This change
adds CEPH_ARGS environment variable to the mgr pod enabling
its propagation and utilization by the dashboard/radosgw-admin
for executing rgw commands.

Change how Rook detects network CIDRs for Multus networks. The IPAM
configuration is only defined as an arbitrary string JSON blob with a
"type" field and nothing more. Rook's detection of CIDRs for whereabouts
had already grown out of date since the initial implementation.
Additionally, Rook did not support DHCP IPAM, which is a reasonable
choice for users. And more, Rook did not support CNI plugin chaining,
which further complicates NADs. Based on the CNI spec, network chaning
can result in any changes to network CIDRs from the first-given plugin.
All these problems make it more and more difficult for Rook to support
Multus by inspecting the NAD itself to predict network CIDRs. Instead,
it is better for Rook to treat the CNI process as a black box. To
preserve legacy functionality of auto-detecting networks and to make
that as robust as possible, change to a canary-style architecture like
that used for Ceph mons, from which Rook will detect the network CIDRs
if possible.
Also allow users to specify overrides for CIDR ranges. This allows Rook
to still support esoteric and unexpected NAD or network configurations
where a CIDR range is not detectable or where the range detected would
be incomplete. Because it may be impossible for Rook to understand the
network CIDRs wholistically while residing only on a portion of the
network, this feature should have been present from Multus's inception.
Improving CIDR auto-detection and allowing users to specify overrides
for auto-detected CIDRs rounds out Rook's Multus support for CephCluster
(core/RADOS) installations. No further architectural changes should be
needed for CephClusters as regards application of public/cluster network
CIDRs for Multus networks.

The active and standby labels are updated on the mgr pods
by the mgr sidecar. In the case of a single mgr, there is
not sidecar, so the dashboard and other mgr services were
not available when there was a single mgr. Now the mgr
pod will default to the active mgr status label so that
the single mgr case will succeed. In the case of two mgrs,
the sidecar will immediately update the standby mgr to
remove the active status label.

The idea behind this change is to use the readiness probe to implement
the mgr HA mechanism. In the current ceph mgr implementation only the
active instance offers the command 'mgr_status' through the admin
socket. We use this command combined with a Readiness Exec Probe to
detect which manager is active. Kubernetes will automatically mark
it as ready and redirect any service traffic to the active instance.

If the port is greater than 1024, for backward compatibility the port and
targetPort should be the same value. If the port is less than 1024,
the internal port must use a higher port number. In that case, the internal
port will be the default port numbers and only the public port will be
the desired port in the cluster CR.

Allow specifying daemon startup probes where we also allow configuring
liveness probes. Startup probes allow Rook to tolerate when Ceph daemons
occasionally take a long time to start up while not also making
Kubernetes liveness probes slower to detect runtime failures of daemons.
Startup probes are beta in Kubernetes 1.18, so we should not enable
probes by default for earlier Kubernetes versions.

For now, we must run the container with UID 0 and privileged for
multiple reasons:
* the rook binary writes ceph config to /var/lib/rook which is owned by
root
* it's difficult to use /etc/ceph since it will conflict with the
rook-ceph-override configmap AND is also owned by root since it's a
mounted configmap.
* using /etc/ceph might be possible but has other issues with rook's
exec package since the ceph config is built from /var/lib/rook

When private/public network have been defined in the Ceph rook cluster it is not
possible to configure properly the ip address of the liveness probe
for the manager.
Changes in the manager in Pacific introduced this regression.
This change replaces the http probe by a command probe, avoiding thus to
determine what is going to be the ip address of the manager before launching
the pod.

When there are multiple mgr daemons, the mgr sidecar owns reconciling
the services for the active mgr. However, for efficiency the sidecar
only reconciles the services if the active mgr changes. Now the operator
will also reconcile the mgr services to ensure that services are re-created
after being deleted, or otherwise in an incorrect state.

We now pass the networking spec to the clusterInfo so that the executor
can make the right decision on how to execute a command.
This is a small change that allows us to remove the CephBlockPool CR
since it's checking for rbd images. On a Multus deployment, the operator
does not have the network annotations, thus has no access to the OSD
network then rbd commands are hanging forever.
Signed-off-by: Sébastien Han <seb@redhat.com>
When the CephCluster is configured with Multus and multiple networks are
used to deploy Ceph some commands are failing to be executed from the
Operator. These commands, in particular, `radosgw-admin` ones need access
to the "ceph public network" to talk to OSDs. Unfortunately, the
Rook-Ceph Operator does not have the network annotations and thus
doesn't have the networks available and cannot reach OSDs. So the commands end
up hanging and eventually time out.
Applying the annotations to the Operator pod is possible but will result
in restarting the operator too and this should be avoided at all costs.
Also, applying the annotations beforehand is not possible since the
Multus declaration is in the CephCluster specification. So we would have
no idea what to do.
So the current approach runs a new sidecar container in the mgr pod to
act as a proxy for "some" ceph commands, only the `radosgw-admin` ones
for multi-site setup. This is a small container with admin access
running idle waiting for commands to be executed. In a sense, it is
similar to the toolbox but we didn't want to clearly expose it, so
running as a sidecar is quite nice.
Proxying command is obviously not always recommended since we add an
extra hop in the network path. Now each request has to go from the
operator pod to the API server to the remote pod to Ceph. Previously,
the command only goes from the operator to Ceph.
It's worth noting that external mode is not impacted since no rgw pod
is configured. This scenario is flexible and allows us to scale
pretty well since any CephCluster with Multus will see its mgr sidecar
deployed and can then talk to Ceph. We are not limited.

The rook.io/v1 package was only an internal implementation detail and
does not have any CRDs that rely on it. The CRD deserialization should
handle the change in internal types without any issue. This separation
gives more flexibility for the storage providers to implement exactly
what is needed for their storage provider instead of forcing to use the
same types and risk affecting another storage provider.

If the cluster is external we want to periodically rehydrate the mgr
endpoint. This handles the scenarion where the active manager changes,
so we need to update the endpoint with the new IP address.
The create-external-cluster-resources.py script now requires an extra
permission to query the manager service so Rook can discover the active
one and its IP.
