The 'extra' block device attached to GH actions runners has changed size
twice in 3 months. The previous strategy of detecting the disk by size
is becoming harder to maintain. Additionally, the block size with recent
changes (75G) is now the same as the boot device (also 75G), making the
method inexact.
The method can now be summarized as, "find the boot disk and choose the
disk that isn't the boot disk to be the 'extra' one used."
Prior to this, we used a one-liner based on `lsblk`. While we could
still make this a one-liner, the method is now updated to 2 effective
lines, plus debug text output to stderr to help if we need to debug
further in the future.
Of note, the 'extra' disk has a mount point of "/mnt", but it is unclear
whether this is a reliable heuristic for detecting the extra disk. For
years now, GH action runners have had only 2 disks. Therefore, it seems
slightly more likely that a heuristic to "choose the non-boot disk" will
be a more robust long-term solution.
If this strategy proves to be unreliable in the future, it may be wise
to consider whether "the device with a partition mounted to '/mnt'"
would be a good alternative.

I was debugging helm tests, I noticed, the operator namespace
content is empty and operator is created in same namespace as
other pods. Also, let's collect the 'kube-system' namespace logs
in multus test only as that is the only test where we need to debug
cluster networking and require kube-system logs.

we are passing inputs to composite action, like
`github_token` which is not being used anymore. Its'
better to clean those lines.

github ci runner is allocating both 14 and 64 Gb disks to the setup.
Rook CI currently hard codes the lsblk with a 14G filter.
This PR updates the filter to use either 14G or 64G disks.

Since `google-cloud-sdk` is renamed with `google-cloud-cli`,
the github action is failing to remove the older name and this
is causing ci issues. Applying changes suggested by community to
manually remove some packages to resolve the issue.

with detached mode, we don't need to wait for the
tests to complete. Now, we can get inside tmate before
the tests start and we can monitor the tests.
By default, this mode will wait at the end of the job for
a user to connect and then to terminate the tmate session.
If no user has connected within 10 minutes after the post-job step started,
it will terminate the tmate session and quit gracefully.

in the right place where tmate `uses` is called for
composite yaml.

For v1.12 update the minimum K8s version supported to v1.22,
and run CI against the most recent six versions.

The main objective of this commit is to stop CI to run tests when only documentations are changed. We did that by adding the Documentation and design folder into paths-ignore key on CI files.

Since K8s 1.24.0 was released we need to run rook
CI against the latest Kubernetes. At the same time,
we update minikube in the CI to 1.25.2.

Support is removed for k8s for various limitations such as
priority classes not working and csi driver feature
incompleteness and missing snapshots. Documentation is updated
with the new min version of k8s 1.17 and also the tests are
updated to run on the min version of 1.17.

With the release of k8s 1.23 we update the CI to run PRs
against K8s 1.16 and K8s 1.23, the oldest and latest
releases that are supported. The master branch will
run against the latest v1.16, 1.18, 1.21, and 1.23.

Add some commands to get more partition info when setting up the GH
action runner's disk for use in integration tests. This will both aid in
debugging and may "jog" the system such that it will no longer need to
reload the partition info when running the OSD prepare job.

run tmate only for `pull_request` event and
remove for other events. As during release
when tests fail it takes extra 30 min to fail the
test or someone manually has to end the test
which is painfully especially during release time.

In Rook v1.8 the min version of K8s supported is updated to 1.16.
Users running on older versions of K8s are recommended to update
to 1.16 or newer before updating to Rook v1.8.

fails. This allows us to log in the runner and observe the exact state

The build version should be detected with the git describe
command, but if the VERSION var is already set, it will be
used instead of being detected from git. During the official
builds or even local builds, we just want to let the makefile
detect the git version.
The full git history is added to enable proper detection of the
version. Without the full history only a hash is returned for
the version, which then results in an invalid semantic version
error for the helm chart.
