They were either opened as text/plain, or, if they were empty, as
application/vnd.rim.qnx.bar_descriptor types.
This hotfix makes the mime database consider lower levels for matching
by extension, if no match with maxweight was found, and reduces the
weight of the application/xml type's ".xml" extension, so the
bar_descriptor type can override this based on its content matcher.
We should do a real fix in post-2.7.

A MIME type can declare itself a sub-type of any other type. That
may be an alias of some type not yet registered, so delay alias
resolution till all MIME types are registered.

They are deprecated in Qt 5. Use fromLatin1() and toLatin1() instead. In
Qt 5, these always do the same thing as their "Ascii" counterparts. The
same goes for Qt 4, provided QTextCodec::setCodecForCStrings has not
been set, which it hasn't.

Creates a new page in the options dialog which allows
the user to modify MIME type's globl patterns and rule-based
magic matchers.
As a side-effect of this feature our MIME database (and related
components) got some improvements.

Introduce multithread-locking to Core::MimeDatabase as it is
invoked from the indexer thread to sort apart headers and sources.
Add a convenience to operate on a sequence to avoid locking for each
file.
