Handle CR in the output of the VCS we are running in the checkout
wizards. This makes sure we get proper progress information when
running the checkout operation.
Note that this is not a perfect implementation: It will fail when
e.g. only a number at the start of the line is updated and the
rest of the text in the line is reused.

setPalette() does not replace the old one but rather adds the
difference. Thus a previous copy of the palette is unnecessary.

QDoc does some magic with the \class and \namespaces
and \brief commands, so the following wording must be used:
"The xxx class yyy ..."

This was implemented only for a small set of widgets. It's unlikely that
we will ever have or even want a dynamic language selection, until then
this code is only dead freight.

QDoc cannot find functions if the signature in the \fn command
is not identical to the declaration, including 'const' qualifiers.
Removed the \fn where the documentation comes immediately before the
function, as qdoc does not need it in that case.
